Get a 3D view of a webpage

14 Mar

Do you often walk past someone with the following on their screen only to turn and walk away very slowly?

HTML Code

Does hearing the words div and span just make you wonder if you’ve walked into a foreign conversation?

If so then maybe the new Firefox11 3D feature is for you, this handy little developer feature gives a 3D view of the page that you’re on. This way you can see all the little boxes that a web developer has to deal with on the front-end every time they look at doing any work.

Here’s our homepage in all its 3D glory, as you can see we like to keep things as simple and clean as possible :)

There are of course more complicated layouts, for instance just have a look at the MSN.com homepage, or the Facebook Timeline, I wouldn’t want to be the front-end developer having to debug anything on those!
